The 2013 County Championship
The County Championship is split into three separate tournaments - the Bill Beaumont Cup, the County Championship Shield, and the County Championship Plate.
Bill Beaumont Cup
The Bill Beaumont Cup is played for by the top 14 counties, and split into Divisions One and Two, both with North and South competitions.
The Division One winners play each other for the Bill Beaumont Cup, while the bottom side in Division One is relegated to Division Two, with the Division Two winners being promoted to Division One for the following season. The Division Two winners play each other for the County Championship Plate.

County Championship Shield
The County Championship Shield is played for by the the other 14 counties. They are split into four pools, with the pool winners playing semi-finals, before the final at Twickenham.
